Hello all! My name is Morgan, and I am new to Pittsburgh. I am originally from Northern Virginia, where I have been in the colorguard world for over 10 years as a performer and instructor, starting as a high school student. I went on to spin at my university, James Madison University, during the outdoor marching season and indoor winterguard season for the 4 years that I attended school. My leadership experience ranged from leading small groups during a colorguard summer camp, acting as Captain in my high school and college groups, running independent spin clinics, providing fundraising opportunities and outsourcing materials for smaller programs in-need, and developing student leadership curriculum. After college, I became the instructor for a high school winterguard team and built their program from the ground up during the first 2 years in competition. I have experience with dance, flag, rifle, and sabre up to the Independent Open Class skill level, extensive experience with choreographing, teaching, cleaning, and mentoring student leaders. I also have introductory experience with drill writing, staging, show development/conceptualization, ect. and would love to continue to grow and learn more. I love working with students and getting them involved in our beautiful sport. This winter I will have availability to co-instruct, tech, write choreo for your group, or specialize in rifle or sabre if needed. I will have some weekday availability and some weekends available throughout the winter season and would love to meet you and join your team. Thank you, Morgan.
